Meet LeRe. He’s a handsome designer and artist who supports his passion projects with his day job at a fancy hotel. He’s made polyhedron dishware, a cardboard dragon bust and his own couches from recycled pallets—I’ve seen them; they’re amazing. LeRe’s not just an artist. He’s also a jock! This stud plays competitive indoor and beach volleyball—and his team wins division championships. That sounds impressive! (I don’t know anything about sports.) When he’s not making art or bumping, setting, and spiking, LeRe can be found hunting for treasure at Jan’s Antiques, at the beach, or sitting around a table with good friends.

You’ll love LeRe because he’s a creative guy who turns his visions into realities. He’s chill, funny, smart, and hot as hell! LeRe needs a guy with a quick wit who likes having friends over for dinner. He says PhDs and tattoos are hot and when (not if) you wrestle, he shouldn’t win every time. He’s super buff so watch out!

Meet PaHa. He’s a driven, hardworking, and artistic guy. By day, he’s a manager in the hospitality industry. At night, he’s a DJ playing your favorite tunes around Chicago. PaHa is an eternal optimist and a music/art/food/book junkie with a bit of a nerd streak—he loves science. He’s an ambitious guy who’s always challenging himself and and aspires to be a jack of all trades.

You’ll love PaHa because he’s cool, has great taste in music, he’s laid back, and a total gentleman. PaHa needs a girl who’s genuine, smart, down-to-earth, and loves art and music. She must also be ok with tattoos—PaHa has a few.

Meet ShSi. She’s the smokin’ babe who works as the Chicago editor, writer, and cool-stuff-finder for a well-known fashion and lifestyle publication, which means this girl knows what’s up and what’s in. ShSi works her tail off! Sometimes work means she’s writing and other times, work means she’s investigating the coolest spots in town, and attending parties, store openings, and fashion shows. I’m jealous! When she’s not working (and sometimes when she is working), ShSi can be found at, as she says, “any bar where the drinks have more than two ingredients,” like Longman & Eagle, The Whistler, and Big Star.

You’ll love ShSi because she’s hardworking, smart, hilarious, gorgeous, and kind. She needs a guy who’s working hard at whatever her does. As ShSi says, “work ethic is sexy”—I agree! He shouldn’t be an introvert or too much of a homebody unless he never wants to see her. She loves her cat so he can’t have kitty allergies! He also needs to be tall. Sorry shorties, she’s just being honest.

Meet JaNi. He’s a designer and animator for tv and commercials. When he’s not working, JaNi is playing in his synth-pop band, cutting a rug at Danny’s, or enjoying a fancy cocktail at Aviary, Violet Hour, or at his home bar—yes, he has a home bar with an assortment of bitters! Obviously, JaNi is all about life’s finer details.

You’ll love JaNi because he’s super driven, naturally creative, LOVES TO DANCE, and he’s sweet as hell. He’s the kind of guy who will drive you and your friend’s drunk asses home (in her car) and cab it back to his house after knowing you for less than 3 hours. And he’ll still want to be your friend! (I am speaking from experience). Sounds like a catch to me! JaNi needs a girl who’s super ambitious, creative, who can appreciate a craft cocktail, and who’s and not afraid of the dance floor!

Meet JoCh. She’s a super stylish girl with a passion for her fellow human. Her job in labor and human rights has enabled her to travel to places like Bogota, Columbia, where she’s spent a lot of time community organizing. Her philosophy: work hard, play hard. While she’s fully committed to her job, JoCh says she’s equally committed to having a good time. When she’s not hopping on a plane to save the world, she’s enjoying life’s simple pleasures…like pickles, great conversations, delicious meals, non-rushed time with friends and family, and a good book.

Meet KaPi. She’s a modern woman with many interests. Whether she’s doing media research for her day job, running her online and mobile vintage shop on nights and weekends, or taking a drawing class, she’s giving it all she’s got! When KaPi’s not busy hustling her professional and creative sides, she’s savoring an old fashioned at Longman & Eagle, taking a break from concrete at the Garfield Park Conservatory, hitting up the Parkview Restaurant in Pilsen for pancakes, or letting loose at the Empty Bottle.

You’ll love KaPi because she’s creative, ambitious, curious, energetic, and loyal. KaPi needs a guy with a slightly off-brand sense of humor who’s all of the above, adventurous, and enjoys good ol’fashioned kitchen dance party every now and then.

Meet DaAn. He’s one of those rare breeds of straight men that’s cool AND employed! His background is in art and he’s currently an IT guy for an ad agency company. But don’t mistake this guy for a wimpy tech nerd—he’s a big Chicago sports fan (sans White Sox!) and can frequently be found playing basketball or volleyball. When he’s not at work or on the court, DaAn keeps it classy places like Lula (my personal fave), Whistler, Revolution Brewery, Local Option, or Bad Apple.

You’ll love DaAn because he’s relaxed, easy going, and even easier to converse with. Despite being crazy busy (see above), he’s super sweet and always offers to help a friend in need. DaAn needs a girl who loves Braveheart and who finds equal enjoyment in art and sports. She also needs to be the kind of girl who can appreciate a super sweet guy!

Meet RoGa. He loves to cook. He loves to eat. Actually, he mostly loves eating. RoGa writes short stories. He also collects paintings of sailing ships and mens vintage dress shoes. When he’s not chatting with dogs and making fun of cats (because he’s allergic to them—“it’s me, not them”), you can find him wishing the most random things for himself (“I wish I were a horse”).

You’ll love RoGa because he’s a quirky and hilarious guy who will make you pee your pants with the random thoughts he shares. So he needs a guy who can appreciate his sense of humor and maybe even chime in every now and then. He’s also super creative and a pretty sharp dresser!

Meet MoDi. She’s a creative consultant working with fashion and lifestyle brands. When she’s not working, she’s eating tacos, hitting up thrift stores, or listening to rap music. MoDi’s favorite local haunts include Maude’s, Rainbo, Big Star, Longman & Eagle, and The Charleston—this girl knows Chicago. She admits she falls down frequently, laughs really loud, thinks meat in all forms is delicious and she doesn’t trust anyone who doesn’t drink coffee.

You’ll love MoDi because she’s frank, outspoken, charming, and smart. She needs a guy who’s confident, not easily intimidated by brains on a chick, likes cats, and who can hold his own in social settings.
